The Little Acre launched on December 13, 2016 as a complete, self-contained adventure game. Its store description presents no post-launch content plans — it describes a finished narrative experience with two playable characters, hand-drawn animation, and full voice acting. The only DLC is a Digital Art Book that released alongside the game on launch day. There have been no major content updates since launch; developer communications after release consisted of a minor patch in July 2017 (adding Razer Chroma support and small gameplay tweaks) and a Chinese localization announcement in December 2019. Neither of these represents new story or gameplay content. The developer has never announced any expansions, additional story content, or post-launch content roadmap. This game launched as a finished product and has remained complete since its release date.

The Little Acre follows the story of Aidan and his daughter, Lily, set in 1950’s Ireland. After discovering clues as to the whereabouts of his missing father, Aidan begins investigating until he inadvertently finds himself transported to a strange new world. Ever the hero, Lily sets off after him, encountering her own perils along the way.
