ARAYA launched on November 23, 2016, and received a handful of patches in its first year: a bug fix update on November 27, 2016, controller and chapter selection improvements on March 3, 2017, HTC Vive and Chinese subtitle support on May 16, 2017, and a final bug fix on June 29, 2017. After that, the game went quiet for over two years.
On October 25, 2019, the developer resurfaced with an announcement teasing an upcoming patch that would include graphics improvements, new gameplay elements, and new quests. However, that promised update was never delivered, and the developer has made no further public statements since that date.
As of today (June 27, 2026), the studio has been silent for more than six years since that last post, and the announced content has never materialized. There is no indication of whether the studio is still active or whether the promised update will ever arrive.
