ARENA an Age of Barbarians story

ARENA an Age of Barbarians Story launched on September 15, 2017 and received active post-launch support through a series of updates and two paid DLC character packs: The Deathbringer (November 10, 2017) and She-Red (June 4, 2018). All three listed DLC items are fully released with nothing unreleased remaining on the store. A significant update occurred since the previous assessment: Update 1.6.9 shipped on September 17, 2026. This is the same update that was announced back on February 26, 2021 — the developer previewed a new "3D movement" feature for upcoming patch 1.6.9. That patch has now finally arrived, more than five years after its announcement, delivering the promised vertical movement feature along with a substantial package of bug fixes, engine upgrades (DirectX 11 support), performance improvements, and minor new content.
