Armored Battle Crew entered Steam Early Access on June 5, 2019 and has been actively updated through 2019 and into early 2020. The developer shipped six numbered patches during that period, adding new vehicles (RNAS Armored Car, Mark IX, Medium Mark B), a sandbox game mode with Steam Workshop integration, new campaign missions, and various gameplay features.
The last two developer posts — on April 1, 2020 and June 26, 2020 — were sneak peek announcements showcasing content in active development but not yet released: the Flying Elephant tank, the Austin Armored Car, mine and dynamite launchers, a terrain editor tool with painting and sculpting capabilities, and experimental AI tank module systems. These were clearly presented as upcoming additions, not shipped features.
Since June 26, 2020, Gattai Games has posted nothing — no patches, no development updates, no community announcements of any kind. The game remains in Early Access with a set of publicly previewed features that were never delivered. There is no developer statement explaining the silence, announcing a hiatus, or declaring the project complete or abandoned. Given that the last communication was on June 26, 2020 — nearly six years before today's date of June 27, 2026 — and announced content was never shipped, the development situation is deeply uncertain.

Tanks were developed during World War 1 in response to the stalemate caused by trench warfare. Despite its slow speed, the armored crew cabin, firepower and ability to navigate through the rough terrain of No Man’s Land allowed the stalemate to be broken.
Staff your Tank Crew with men and women with the right specializations, skills and abilities. Command them to man various modules in the Tank or to perform heroic actions such as putting out a raging fire, repairing the broken engine or reviving a fallen Crew Member!
Get your hands (and legs) on the steering and drive your Tank into battle! Navigate various terrains and plow your way through barbed wires, trenches or poor enemy souls. Let nothing stop the steel beast!
Every battle is a treacherous one. Enemy soldiers, machine guns, anti-tank weapons, artilleries, mines, bombers and many others lay in wait, all with the one goal of destroying you. Stay alert, keep your eyes peeled and complete your mission!
Understand the enemy, and equip the right weapon for the job. Choose between machine guns, anti-tank cannons, howitzer, flamethrowers, autocannons and many more to be effective in battle! Further personalize your tank with a wide range of liveries, emblems and wordings to make the Tank truly yours!
