art of rally launched on September 23, 2020 and received a healthy run of post-launch content over roughly three years. Major free updates added the Heritage cars (December 14, 2020), the Kenya location (August 12, 2021), and the Indonesia location (September 22, 2022), each bringing new stages, cars, and freeroam areas. The final paid DLC, Australia, released on November 16, 2023, adding 6 tracks, 4 cars, and a freeroam location alongside a substantial v1.5.0 patch. Since the Australia DLC shipped, the developer's attention has clearly moved on. An August 2023 post about sunsetting DirectX 12 support explicitly said the team was redirecting effort toward "new exciting things." In January 2025, Funselektor formally announced their next game, *over the hill*, and in September 2024 they shipped an entirely separate title, *Golden Lap*. A February 2025 patch (v1.5.8) delivered performance and collision fixes for art of rally, showing the team still does occasional maintenance, but no new content has been announced or hinted at for the game. All three DLC entries in the store are released, no unreleased DLC is listed, and the developer has not communicated any plans for additional art of rally content. The game appears to be a complete, finished product as of the Australia DLC release on November 16, 2023.
