Evaluation

Assassin's Creed Valhalla launched on Steam on December 6, 2022 — the PC (Steam) release of a game that originally launched on other platforms in November 2020. All four DLC items listed on the Steam store (Wrath of the Druids, The Siege of Paris, Dawn of Ragnarök, and the Season Pass) were already released on that same launch date, meaning the Steam version arrived as a complete package with all previously released content included. No unreleased DLC entries exist on the store. The most recent developer communication tied to Valhalla itself was on October 8, 2024, when Steam Achievements were added — a quality-of-life improvement rather than new content. A July 13, 2026 news post appeared on this game's Steam page, but it is an announcement for the launch of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, a separate title; it contains no information about Valhalla's development status. Ubisoft has clearly moved on to subsequent entries in the franchise. No new content, roadmaps, or future plans have been announced for Valhalla.
