Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan launched on April 14, 2016 as a complete, story-driven action RPG. Its only DLC is the official soundtrack, which also released on launch day — no additional game content has been released or announced since then. The developer (Kiro'o Games) went through a quiet period after launch, which they acknowledged in an April 22, 2023 post [NEWS-2], explaining they had struggled to rebuild the team, ended their publisher relationship, and were expanding the Aurion IP into graphic novels and mobile games. That same post referenced working on "sequels" to the game, and a May 2023 Discord announcement [NEWS-3] similarly mentioned "sequels" — but neither committed to new content for this specific Steam release. Most recently, on March 27, 2025 [NEWS-1], the developer posted a new trailer for the existing game and encouraged players to try it, but made no announcement of new content, updates, or expansions for this title. The developer's communications since 2023 are focused on the broader AurionVerse (graphic novels, mobile games, and future sequels as separate projects), not on adding content to this game. The game launched as a complete, self-contained experience and has received only minor bug fixes (October 2021) and a gameplay trailer (May 2020) in the years since release.
