Avalanche 2: Super Avalanche launched on June 11, 2015 as a complete arcade platformer. In the months following launch, developer Beast Games shipped a series of patches adding features and fixing bugs: v1.03 on July 9, 2015 (performance and graphics improvements), v1.031 on July 13, 2015 (leaderboard fixes), v1.04 on September 6, 2015 (Steam achievements and API integration), and v1.041 on September 7, 2015 (a quick follow-up fix). The September 6, 2015 post mentioned leaderboards and a daily challenge feature as upcoming additions, but no such updates were ever published — the September 7, 2015 patch is the last recorded communication from the developer. That was nearly a decade ago, and no further news posts, patches, or announcements have appeared since. The only DLC released is the game's soundtrack (June 15, 2015), with no unreleased DLC on the store. The store description contains no references to planned future content. The game appears to have been a complete, self-contained product at launch, with its brief post-launch patch period wrapping up in September 2015.
