Bleed launched on July 3, 2013 as a self-contained action-platformer with a fixed set of 7 levels, modes, and unlockable characters — all described in the store page as a complete package with no mention of post-launch additions. The developer's post-launch activity consists of a Linux port (February 21, 2015) and an announcement of a separate sequel, Bleed 2 (August 10, 2016).
