Gunslugs launched on June 2, 2015 as a complete, self-contained action game with procedurally generated levels. The developer's news posts on this game's Steam page are almost entirely announcements for other Orangepixel titles — a sequel (Gunslugs: Rogue Tactics, released August 6, 2019), and unrelated games such as Sir Questionnaire, Heroes of Loot: Gauntlet of Power, and Regulators. None of these posts announce new content for Gunslugs itself. The most recent post referencing Gunslugs directly was the March 29, 2019 announcement teasing the sequel, which was then fulfilled by the Rogue Tactics release. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap, and no developer statements about future updates to this game. Orangepixel has continued to be an active studio, simply moving on to new projects. Gunslugs shipped as a finished product and has received no post-launch content cycle of its own.
