Avaria: Chains of Lust

Avaria: Chains of Lust launched on July 26, 2020. In the days immediately following launch, the developer and publisher issued several hotfix patches addressing bugs in the gallery, combat, quests, and other systems. The last update was on July 29, 2020. At launch, the publisher announced plans for post-release free DLC content, additional content featuring a character named Amelia, and translations to be added in a future international update. However, none of these commitments were followed through on — no DLC (free or paid) ever appeared in the store listing, no translation update was posted, and the developer has issued no communications of any kind since July 29, 2020. That is now nearly six years of complete silence. With no unreleased DLC on the store, no subsequent developer posts, and no evidence that any of the promised post-release content was ever delivered, the game appears to have shipped as a finished product in practice. The post-launch promises were not fulfilled and were never publicly reaffirmed or updated. The game is best understood as complete in its current state, with the final patch on July 29, 2020 representing the end of active work on it.
