Meltys Quest launched on Steam on October 24, 2017 with full English localization. In the months following launch, the developer shipped several patches addressing bugs, balance issues, and localization improvements. The one notable post-launch content addition was a free update on April 16, 2018 (v1.10) that added new sidequests, scenes, a costume, achievements, and a new challenge dungeon — representing the game's single meaningful content expansion after release.
After that April 2018 update, the developer's attention shifted to other projects: Monster Girl Club Bifrost (released March 2020), Island SAGA (released May 2020), and Karryn's Prison (released December 2021). The Meltys Quest news feed since 2018 has consisted almost entirely of localization additions (Korean in May 2019, Russian in September 2019), routine bug fixes, and cross-promotional posts for other Remtairy titles.
The most recent post for Meltys Quest, dated June 16, 2026, is a minor bug fix addressing typos in the English version and an achievement trigger fix in the Japanese version. This is pure maintenance activity, not new content development. The developer has never announced additional DLC, expansions, or future content for Meltys Quest, and the store description reflects the game as a complete, self-contained experience. There are no unreleased DLC listings. The game shipped as a finished product and received one content update in April 2018, after which development was effectively complete.

Meltys Quest is about the journey our protagonist, Princess Meltys takes to restore her kingdom. Meltys is a girl who has fooled around all her life, not giving a hoot about anything but herself. But one day the Grolido Monster Empire invades her country, destroys her home, and kidnaps her three sisters. With no castle and no one else to call for help, Meltys decides,
