AXYOS

On August 1, 2018, the developer posted an explicit statement explaining that AXYOS was being released in its current, unfinished state. The post cited unfavorable changes to Steam's storefront that undermined small indie game sales, stating there was "no value in finishing AXYOS at all" and that they "couldn't get enough resources to polish and promote the game." The developer explicitly chose to ship it as-is rather than continue development. This is a clear, direct statement that active development of AXYOS has ended. The last developer communication of any kind was on May 17, 2022, when the developer promoted a different game they had made — a new anime shooter — with no mention of any future work on AXYOS. This further confirms that developer attention had fully shifted away from AXYOS well before that point. The only DLC listed is the official soundtrack, which was released in July 2016. There are no unreleased DLC entries and no roadmap or announcements of future content. The game's store description still carries a note warning players that bugs may remain, which is consistent with the developer's 2018 statement about releasing the game as-is. AXYOS launched as a finished — if intentionally incomplete — product on August 1, 2018, with the developer explicitly closing the door on further development at that time.
