War Identity

War Identity is a free-to-play competitive first-person shooter that launched on December 3, 2020. The game is designed as an ongoing live service: it features a Battle Pass, daily loot boxes, a Token Store, and cosmetic content systems, and its store page explicitly states it is "updated weekly with new features and improvements." A December 2020 developer post stated the roadmap would "never end," underscoring the intent for indefinite ongoing support. Through early 2021, the solo developer (Nick) posted updates frequently — roughly every few days to a week — shipping feature patches and refining core systems. The last recorded developer communication is a patch post dated February 25, 2021. However, the store description still references an active roadmap with several features listed at partial completion: Battle Royale Mode (10%), Inventory/Backpack (0%), Perks for Inventory (0%), and Twitch voting game bonuses (40%). These were announced as upcoming features but have never been confirmed as shipped. With no developer communications since February 25, 2021 and no evidence these roadmap items were ever completed, it is uncertain whether active development has continued or quietly stopped. The game remains purchasable (free-to-play) on Steam.
