Axyz

Axyz launched on March 27, 2025 and received consistent updates throughout its first year, including feature patches, accessibility improvements, and bug fixes. On January 9, 2026, the developer published a 2026 roadmap promising new super levels, cloud saves, a camera zoom feature, new music, and more — all aimed for the first half of 2026. The developer delivered on these plans with the One Year Anniversary Update on April 18, 2026, which added 8 new "C-side" challenge levels, 9 new Steam achievements, Steam Cloud Save, a camera FOV setting, and 4 new music tracks — directly fulfilling the roadmap commitments. Crucially, the same post explicitly states: "Outside of any last fixes we'll be easing up on updates for Axyz as we now move onto development for game #2." This is a clear developer statement that substantive content development for Axyz is now concluded. A follow-up bug fix patch on May 12, 2026 addressed two small issues introduced by the anniversary update, consistent with the "last fixes" language used. Space Lion Studios has been transparent throughout: they signalled a reduced focus on Axyz as early as July 2025 when they received funding for a new game prototype, and the anniversary update post marks the formal conclusion of planned content. The game shipped as a complete 100+ level puzzle experience and has now received its final major content additions.
