Azure Saga: Pathfinder launched on Steam on March 13, 2018 as a complete, self-contained JRPG. All four DLC packs — costume sets — were released on launch day, indicating they were always part of the base release bundle rather than post-launch additions. The developer issued several bug fix and polish patches in the months following launch (through November 2018), and later expanded the game to Nintendo Switch (2019) and iOS (September 2020). The September 2020 post also announced a brand-new game, Potion Permit, signaling the studio had moved on to its next project.
