Banana & Cucumber

Banana & Cucumber is a free-to-play casual clicker game that launched on June 12, 2024. In the weeks following launch, the developer shipped a rapid series of patches (v0.0.1 through v0.0.8) adding new collectible drops, fixing bugs, and tweaking the drop system. The most significant update was the Drops Update on July 2, 2024, which introduced a full new Anime Set of drops across five rarity tiers and retired all previous drops. That July 2, 2024 post is the last developer communication on record. Since then — through June 2026 — the developer has posted nothing further: no new patches, no announcements, no roadmap, and no future content commitments. The store description mentions periodic Discord events where special items are given out, but this refers to community-run events rather than game updates, and there is no indication of planned new content for the game itself. The game appears to have launched as a simple, self-contained clicker with a drop/collectible system, received a short burst of post-launch polish, and then settled into its final state.
