Pancake Sailor launched as a free-to-play relaxing sailing game on April 1, 2020. Shortly after launch, MarineVerse announced and then released one DLC — Windy Islands — which added a new map and two additional races. That DLC shipped on April 30, 2020. Since then, no further content has been announced, no roadmap has been published, and the developer has posted nothing beyond community events and other low-signal posts. The single major content release (Windy Islands) appears to have been the entirety of the game's planned post-launch content, and there have been no developer communications suggesting additional content since April 2020. The game functions as a complete, finished product.
