Battle Dome

Battle Dome launched out of Early Access on June 8, 2017 after a period of regular content updates during its Early Access phase. The developer shipped a steady stream of feature updates — new weapons, maps, co-op modes, and game modes — throughout the Early Access period and shortly after launch. The most significant post-launch development was the release of Battle Dome Redux on November 26, 2019, a separate standalone successor title. In the announcement, the developer stated they would be "adding new stuff weekly" to Redux — but that was a statement about the new game, not the original Battle Dome. No further updates to the original Battle Dome have been posted since that announcement. The last developer communication of any kind concerning this game (App ID 484870) dates to November 26, 2019, which is the Redux launch post. Prior to that, the last substantive content update to the original game appears to have been in 2017–2018. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content for the original title, and no sustained post-launch update cadence to suggest ongoing development. The developer's energy clearly shifted to Redux and other projects (including Inhumanus, announced in April 2018). Given the absence of any developer communication about the original Battle Dome since November 26, 2019, the lack of announced or unreleased content, and the developer's explicit pivot to a successor title, the original Battle Dome is best understood as a completed, finished product.
