Sniper Elite VR launched on July 8, 2021 as a complete, standalone VR experience built around an 18-mission campaign. Following launch, the developer shipped several patches through September 2021: a hotfix on July 9, 2021 addressing hand alignment issues; a feature patch on July 20, 2021 adding G2 headset support and fixing a wide range of gameplay and UI issues; a September 7, 2021 feature patch adding custom difficulties, haptic suit support, and ProTubeVR gunstock support; and a final hotfix on September 27, 2021 addressing stability on 12th-generation Intel CPUs. There are no DLC listings, no roadmap, no announced future content, and no developer communications after September 27, 2021. The game was positioned from the start as a complete, self-contained product ("exclusive campaign," no season pass or expansion language).
