Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 launched on October 31, 2013 as a standalone co-op campaign — a self-contained product with no post-launch DLC or ongoing content cycle. The only post-launch update was a bug-fix patch on November 8, 2013 addressing achievements, gameplay issues, and performance. No additional content was ever released for this game specifically.
In early 2015, Rebellion released Zombie Army Trilogy — a separate product that bundles remastered versions of both Nazi Zombie Army games along with a brand-new third campaign and a Horde mode. The store page for Nazi Zombie Army 2 itself prominently notes that this improved edition exists, directing players there if they want the best experience. The Left 4 Dead character update released on August 20, 2015 was delivered to Zombie Army Trilogy, not to this game.
Nazi Zombie Army 2 shipped as a complete, finished product and has received no new content since its 2013 launch patch. All development energy was folded into the Trilogy release. The last developer communication specific to this game was in November 2013.
