A new development team took over in late 2021 and delivered a substantial wave of content: DLC 1 "The Island" shipped on December 24, 2021, DLC 2 "The Fog" shipped on April 15, 2022, and both DLC releases are confirmed on the store. An October 2022 announcement outlined an ambitious "TYA Remaster" — a full game overhaul on a new Unreal Engine — targeting a 2023 release with new content including a new boss and overhauled missions. The Santa Town map was released as a free preview step toward that remaster on January 5, 2023, and a mission update for Santa Town shipped on February 25, 2023 (the most recent developer communication). That February 2023 post described Santa Town as "a taste of how the upcoming game's missions will work for Christmas this year," suggesting the TYA Remaster was still in development at that time. However, there have been no developer posts, updates, or communications of any kind since February 25, 2023 — over three years of complete silence as of June 2026. The promised TYA Remaster has not appeared. Given this team's historical update cadence of roughly every 2–4 months between 2021 and early 2023, silence stretching more than three years far exceeds any reasonable expectation. No new DLC has been listed on the store. All current DLC is released. The game has a long track record of abandoned promises under prior teams, and the current team appears to have gone dormant without formally concluding or cancelling the announced remaster. Despite the outstanding TYA Remaster announcement, the combination of years of silence, no unreleased DLC on the store, and the pattern of promises quietly expiring under previous team iterations points to development having effectively concluded. The Santa Town mission update on February 25, 2023 is the most plausible endpoint for active content delivery.
