Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 5 is a 2009 action game that was ported to Steam in 2015. All of its post-launch content has been fully released. The single DLC listing — the Untold Stories Bundle — shipped on March 26, 2015, and the store description notes that purchasing it is equivalent to owning the Gold Edition, meaning the complete content package is available. The Gold Edition content itself (additional story chapters, costumes, versus mode, and Mercenaries Reunion) was released on the same date. The most recent developer activity was a feature patch on February 28, 2023, which removed the legacy Games for Windows Live infrastructure and added local split-screen co-op. This was a maintenance and modernization update rather than new story or gameplay content. Prior to that, activity had been sparse: a bug fix in January 2022, a GFWL workaround in 2017, and a patch in 2015. Capcom has made no announcements of future content for this title, and the development history shows no sustained cadence of post-launch expansions beyond the initial Gold Edition content from 2015. The game launched as a finished product, received its complete Gold Edition content, and has since been maintained as a legacy title. The February 28, 2023 patch represents the most recent update, after which no further content or announcements have followed.
