Evaluation

Battle On! Hero Academy launched on October 22, 2025. Within its first week, the developer announced a major Version 1.1 update planned for December, promising a substantial late-game expansion including a new Abyss Trial mode, an Equipment System, and Tier 4 Class promotions. That update shipped on November 30, 2025 as promised. Following v1.1, the developer maintained a very high pace of feature patches — at least 17 updates between launch and February 5, 2026 — continuously adding new hidden classes (Berserker branch, Cleric branch, Guardian branch), new buildings, new game modes (Endless Mode, Easter Egg Boss), automation systems, balance tuning, and quality-of-life improvements. The most recent update in the available record is February 5, 2026 (Version 1.1.110). Today is September 24, 2026, meaning approximately 7.5 months have elapsed since that last known post. However, the news scan returned only the 10 most relevant posts from 47 total — it is likely that additional patches were published after February 5, 2026 that were filtered out as lower-signal maintenance updates. The developer established an extremely high update cadence (roughly weekly to biweekly patches) in the period covered, so a gap of 7.5 months to the last *visible* post is not necessarily representative of actual silence. The developer has not announced the conclusion of content development, and no statement indicating the end of updates has been found. Given the strong sustained update history and the filtering that may have obscured more recent posts, the game continues to show the profile of an actively supported title.
Evidence
Version 1.1.110 added a hidden Easter Egg boss, a new hidden Guardian branch class, and several gameplay and QoL improvements. This is the most recent update in the visible record.

About this game

Hello, Dean! Welcome to your Hero Academy. This is a desktop simulation management idle game designed specifically for PC players. Inspired by classic Kairosoft gameplay combined with lightweight desktop idle mechanics, you won't need to micromanage every battle. Instead, as the supreme decision-maker of the academy, you'll focus on planning building layouts, recruiting promising heroes, and paving their path to legendary careers. Enjoy watching heroes grow, fight, and live autonomously while utilizing the unique "Iteration and Legacy" system to turn each graduation into permanent assets for the academy, ultimately building the continent's premier hero training institution!

Plan a One-of-a-Kind Hero Academy

From an empty plot to a renowned educational sanctuary, every inch of your academy is planned by you. You will construct various Hero Huts for heroes to recover their stamina, a Trial Grounds that provides a ceaseless stream of combat opportunities, a Canteen for powerful buffs, and a Library to accelerate growth. Each building serves a unique function, and a strategic layout will vastly improve your heroes' efficiency. This isn't just about construction; it's about creating the perfect home for your heroes to thrive.

Witness an Automated Hero Ecosystem

Once "enrolled," your heroes come to life. They will automatically head to the Trial Grounds to fight monsters, feast at the Canteen when hungry, and return to their dorms to dream when exhausted. This vibrant ecosystem is fully automated, freeing you from tedious operations. You only need to focus on the macro-development of your academy and, when the time is right, launch an all-out assault on the powerful, periodic Bosses lurking in the Trial Grounds, leading your entire academy to win glory and prestige!

Cultivate Future Legends with Diverse Personalities

Every hero is a unique treasure. They possess Talents ranging from D to S rank, which determine their growth potential, and are randomly assigned "Personality" traits like "Valiant," "Scholar," or "Lone Wolf," which profoundly influence their combat style. Through academy research, you can unlock a vast class promotion tree, allowing you to develop a swordsman into a team-guarding "Paladin" or a damage-dealing "Berserker." Discover their potential, combine their traits, and cultivate an invincible team of legends!

Graduation Is the Beginning of an Eternal Legacy

The core design philosophy of this game is "Iteration & Legacy," turning your every investment into permanent accumulation. When heroes reach their level cap, you can choose to have them "graduate." This is not a loss, but a strategic investment. Graduated heroes leave behind precious [Legacy Letters], which are used to unlock permanent global buffs in the academy's tech tree. Build the [Hall of Fame], and your graduated legends will continuously generate gold for you. Every graduation helps build a better academy, giving your next generation of heroes a higher starting point!
