Battlevoid: Harbinger launched on Steam on February 24, 2016 as a fully featured release. Following launch, the developer shipped several patches adding new content — including new ships, hangars, and quality-of-life improvements — through October 4, 2018, which marks the last known update to the game. After that date, Bugbyte Ltd.'s focus clearly shifted to their other projects: the Battlevoid: Sector Siege sequel (released October 2017) and the larger Space Haven colony sim, which had an active Kickstarter campaign in early 2019. There have been no further updates, announcements, or developer communications about Harbinger since October 4, 2018. The only DLC listed is the game's original soundtrack, which released alongside the game at launch. No additional content has been announced or promised. The game shipped as a complete product and received post-launch maintenance and minor content additions before the developer moved on to other titles.
