Battlevoid: Sector Siege launched on October 25, 2017 and received a series of post-launch content updates in its first few months: a balance/content patch on November 1, 2017; three new stations added on November 20, 2017; four new turrets on December 7, 2017; and a new research tree on January 24, 2018. After that January 2018 update, all developer communications shifted away from Sector Siege entirely. Starting in December 2018, Bugbyte Ltd. began posting news on this game's Steam page to promote their next project, Space Haven — a different game entirely — culminating in Kickstarter announcements through March 2019. There have been no further updates to Sector Siege since January 24, 2018, and no announcements of planned content. The sole DLC (the original soundtrack) shipped on release day. The developer's focus moved on to Space Haven, and Sector Siege appears to have been completed as a finished product at that point.
