Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure launched out of Early Access on March 10, 2021. Since then, Vector Unit shipped a consistent series of post-launch content updates. The first DLC, the Oddball Car Pack, arrived on September 15, 2021. A major free base-game update followed on August 10, 2023, adding two new tracks, a new driver, two new cars, and additional features. That same day's update also bundled two new paid DLC packs — the Turbo Titans Car Pack and the High Octane Moto Pack — both of which released on August 24, 2023. All three DLC packs listed on the store are now released with no unreleased items remaining. After the August 2023 content drop, developer communications shifted to maintenance: a localization and decal update posted January 15, 2025, and a bug fix posted March 4, 2025. Neither of these posts hints at upcoming content. The developer has not announced any new DLC, expansions, or roadmap items since the August 2023 release. With no unreleased DLC on the store, no announced future content, and post-launch communications limited to maintenance patches since August 2023, the game's content appears complete as of the final DLC release on August 24, 2023.
