Evaluation
Becalm is a free-to-play relaxation experience that launched on January 17, 2019. The developer shipped one meaningful post-launch update — version 1.3 on October 17, 2019 — which added 3D positional audio, controller support, an options menu, and performance improvements. That appears to be the last update to the game itself. Since then, the developer's posts on the Becalm page have been announcements for other unrelated projects: a new game collection in January 2021, a demo for a different game in October 2024, and the release of a separate desktop app in August 2025. None of these reference any further plans for Becalm. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, and no developer statement promising additional content for this title. The game launched as a compact, self-contained experience and has been complete since its final update in October 2019.
Evidence

In this relaxing first person voyage you'll sail towards the sunset through magical waters in a very special boat. You won't have to worry about steering, logistics, missing crewmembers, capsizing or even pirates. It's a trip for you to sit back and... becalm!
- Bright and dreamy watercolor aesthetics that bring to life multiple biomes.
- An awesome synthesizer ensemble cascading through field recorded maritime soundscapes.
- Every time you play it'll randomly select a journey for you.
- Choose between a five minute journey or endless mode.
- Relax.

- Use your mouse to look around.
- Space to switch journey.
- Press Esc to Quit, tho it closes on its own after 5 minutes.

Special thanks to Eric Lorenz for field recording many of the ocean and boat soundscapes!
