Evaluation

Because I Love Her is an Early Access visual novel by solo developer The Typist, released on December 13, 2023. The game has received a steady stream of major content updates since launch: a large Love Route update in September 2024 (700 renders, 20 animations, ~2,500 lines of script), a major NTR/Sharing path update in May 2025 (575+ renders, 18 animations, ~2,500 lines of script), and another significant Love Route update in May 2026 (400+ renders, 16 animations, new content for Gwen, Zoey, Claire, and Olivia). A hotfix followed the very next day on May 20, 2026, showing hands-on active engagement. Most recently, on July 14, 2026, the developer posted a detailed teaser for the next incoming update to the NTR/Sharing path. They describe it as their largest update ever — targeting over 6,000 lines of script — with expanded branching paths, major story developments (including choices about Claire's and Zoey's futures), and substantially longer scenes. The developer explicitly says they intend to "continue these types of updates for the rest of the game, in order to sooner lead us to a finish for both paths." This is a clear, active commitment to ongoing content. The game is not complete and is not intended to be complete yet. Both main story paths are still being developed toward an eventual conclusion, and the next major content drop is already in production as of July 2026.

About this game

In Because I Love her you play as two main protagonists, John and Claire (names can be chosen upon intro), who live in a small city together alongside Claire's sister, Zoey. You've had things handed to you on a silver platter for quite some time, but money is beginning to run tight. During this journey together as a couple, you will find new ways to make money, develop a stronger (Or weaker) relationship together, all while dealing with everyday life that surrounds you. What seemed like a simple task later becomes harder than once thought as you learn more about those that surround you.

This game has a love path and a corruption path. The corruption path contains a heavy focus on fetishes such as sharing, cuckolding, swinging, and optional netorare(AKA ntr, a form of cheating) which can be disabled from the start.

Fall in love...

Or corrupt and share...

Fulfill your deepest fantasies...

And explore your options...

Most recent update as of May 2026 currently includes:

  • Over 3300 Full HD renders

  • Many branching paths, your choices matter

  • Plenty of optional content

  • An available replay gallery for important scenes ;)

  • Over 95 hand posed animations with many more to come!
