Leap of Faith is a completed visual novel. The developer, DriftyGames, explicitly announced on August 5, 2022 that Chapter 8 would be the "8th and final conclusion chapter," describing it with "mixed feelings" about closing up the game. That final chapter shipped on September 9, 2022 as version 1.0, marking the game's completion. A Walkthrough/Extra Material DLC followed on September 22, 2022 — this is supplemental content, not a story extension. A minor patch in October 2022 added music tracks and a bug fix. The developer's only subsequent communications have been a translations beta (September 18, 2025) adding community-contributed language support, and an announcement on July 16, 2024 about their next game, U4iA, confirming their attention has moved on. The game launched as a serialized visual novel and reached its intended conclusion; no further story content has been announced or hinted at.
