Bee Island

Bee Island launched on August 25, 2023 and has received a steady stream of major content additions since then. The developer has shipped five significant updates post-launch: a Sci-Fi fourth era update (June 27, 2024) adding new resources, buildings, and enemy types; a nuclear weapons and creative mode update (July 30, 2024); a first-person hornet attack game mode featuring 18 campaign missions (June 27, 2025); and most recently, a full co-op multiplayer mode on June 25, 2026 — described by the developer as "three years in the making." This establishes a clear and sustained pattern of substantial content additions over nearly three years post-launch. Following the co-op launch, the developer explicitly stated: "We already have ideas for new updates and co-op modes, but we'd love to hear your suggestions first." Two follow-up patches (June 26 and July 21, 2026) addressed bugs introduced by the co-op update, showing the team remains actively engaged. The developer has not announced the conclusion of content development, and the most recent major release was just two months ago as of today.
