Bee Simulator

Bee Simulator launched on November 17, 2020 as a complete experience. It received a minor bug-fix patch on January 26, 2021 adding achievements and gamepad support, but no further post-launch content was added to the base game for several years. On March 12, 2025, the developer announced "Bee Simulator: The Hive" — described as a true expansion adding a fully customizable hive-building system and remastered visuals. A release date of August 4, 2025 was confirmed on July 4, 2025, and the expansion launched as announced on August 4, 2025. Importantly, The Hive is a separate Steam product (App ID 3348910), not a DLC to the base game. The only DLC listed on the base game's store page is the Artbook, released April 2, 2025 — a non-content item. No unreleased DLC is listed for the base game, and no further content has been announced for it. The developer's communications since the August 4, 2025 launch of The Hive have been silent on any additional content for the original Bee Simulator. The expansion's release appears to represent the culmination of the developer's work in this universe, with new content channeled into the standalone sequel/expansion product rather than the base game. With no outstanding content commitments for the base game, no unreleased DLC, and the expansion having shipped as a separate product, the base game is considered content-complete as of the expansion's launch date.
