Beyond Sol launched on October 13, 2015 after graduating from Early Access. The developer, Praxia Entertainment Inc., maintained an active weekly update schedule through launch, shipping several feature updates and culminating in the 1.0 release with Dreadnoughts. However, on May 30, 2023, the studio published a formal announcement confirming it was shutting down due to dried-up game sales and insufficient funds to continue operating. The game is no longer available for purchase on Steam, which is consistent with the studio closure announcement.
