Beyond the Long Night launched on April 17, 2023 as a fully released game. Following launch, the developer (Noisy Head Games) shipped a series of post-launch patches: a difficulty and accessibility update on April 26, 2023 (NEWS-3), quality-of-life improvements including rebindable controls and Steam Deck text improvements on May 25, 2023 (NEWS-2), and a content update adding new upgrades and a new Kickstarter backer cow on June 29, 2023 (NEWS-1). That June 29, 2023 post represents the last known developer communication of any kind. There are no unreleased DLC entries — the only DLC is the soundtrack, which shipped on April 18, 2023. No roadmap, future content announcements, or developer statements about ongoing development have been made since June 29, 2023. The developer has not posted any updates across nearly three years since that date. Given that only three post-launch content updates occurred — all within roughly ten weeks of launch — and no further communication has followed since June 29, 2023, the game's post-launch update activity has conclusively ended. The game launched as a complete experience and its post-launch support phase has run its course.
