About this game

Black Annis is the first game in a collection of short horror / puzzle exploration games that are based upon British folklore and presented in a modern fictional setting.

Welcome to Lone Oak College

For the last 250 years, stories tell of a murderous apparition that haunts the Dane Hills area of Leicester, people and animals periodically go missing with no trace. The stories tell of a lone oak tree, which lies at the centre of these events.  The pace of modern urban sprawl has meant that this story has fallen into legend, but if rumours are to be believed, then Black Annis still lurks in the darkness.

Gameplay

Working the night shift in a recently renovated college, you will have to solve numerous puzzles in order to move through the locked down campus and discover the history behind Black Annis.

Only by discovering the truth will you be able to escape her clutches, as you desperately search for your missing friend and find a way out.

Black Annis features:

  • Based on the local legend of Black Annis.  A creature that has haunted the Dane hills area of Leicester for hundreds of years.

  • Gameplay: Tense, atmospheric exploration in a realistic environment

  • Mechanics:

    • First person puzzle interaction
