Evaluation
Silence Channel launched on April 29, 2021 as a complete psychological horror game. Before launch, the developer confirmed on April 12, 2021 that the game development process had been completed, with only voice acting finishing touches remaining. The game shipped as a finished, self-contained experience with no season pass, DLC, or post-launch content roadmap.
A "Silence Channel 2" was teased in June 2022, but this was a separate game announcement, not additional content for the original. No sequel or follow-up for the original game has materialized from that announcement.
Post-launch activity has been limited to minor maintenance: Update 1.7 on August 17, 2025 made small quality-of-life adjustments (camera noise, flashlight duration, minor bug fixes). A holiday sale announcement in December 2025 and a cross-promotion for the developer's newer game "THEM" (released June 27, 2025) round out recent communications — neither signals any new content for Silence Channel itself.
The game is a complete, standalone product that launched as intended and has received only light maintenance updates since.

You play as John Martin, an Investigative reporter sent to a remote location to check out rumors of unexplainable sightings. Convinced it is nothing more than local folklore and myth, you arrive an early morning in dense fog with the aim of taking a few photos, make a couple of interviews with the locals, and quietly depart to write up your local piece of gossip. Dare you enter the mysterious mansion ?
