BLACKHOLE

BLACKHOLE launched on February 27, 2015 and received several DLC packs and updates over the following year. On June 15, 2016, the developer released BLACKHOLE: Complete Edition — a bundled package including the fully updated base game, all DLC (Testing Laboratory, Challenge Vault, and bonus content), a digital artbook, soundtrack, developer diaries, and exclusive new levels. Both the store description and short description prominently advertise "Complete Edition now available!" and "Complete Edition out now!" The developer's June 2016 announcement described this as "the ultimate package" including all content. A July 2017 developer post mentioned that a piece of additional content called "Last Mission" was still in development, citing financing complications. However, this content was never released — there is no DLC listing for it, no subsequent announcement of its completion, and the studio's communications after 2017 shifted focus entirely to new projects (MATCHO in 2022, The Pegasus Expedition in 2023). The Complete Edition packaging and all-DLC-released status on the store reflect the game's final shipped state. All four DLC items are released, and no unreleased DLC appears in the store listing. The last developer communication related to BLACKHOLE dates to July 21, 2017.
