Blacksmith Legends has been removed from the Steam store and is no longer available for purchase. The solo developer, VM Machal, posted a farewell message on December 22, 2023, explaining that technical limitations with the visual scripting tool used to build the game had made further development impossible without starting over from scratch — something he no longer had the desire to do. He explicitly stated there are no further plans to continue the project. A final sale was announced on December 31, 2023, giving existing players a last chance to purchase the game at 30% off before it was delisted. The developer confirmed that Steam agreed to remove the product from the store page while allowing existing owners to keep it in their library. The game had been in Early Access since January 2022 and never reached a 1.0 release.
