Blood and Lust

Blood and Lust is a free, short visual novel (approximately one hour of play time) released on August 3, 2019. The developer has explicitly described it as "a short game about gladiators" made specifically for Bara Jam — a game jam — indicating it was always intended as a self-contained, finished product. On May 15, 2020, the developer patched out remaining bugs and directly addressed players who wanted more content like this, stating: "I'm sorry, but bara is not really my cup of tea... I just wanted to make a short game about gladiators." This is a clear and explicit statement that no further content for Blood and Lust is planned. All developer activity since then has been announcements and releases of entirely separate games (Lurkers in November 2020, and Exes Assault in June 2024), with no further posts about Blood and Lust itself. The game launched as a complete product and the developer has confirmed there will be no additional content. It is finished.
