Evaluation
Negligee: Spring Clean Prelude is a free-to-play standalone prelude to the full game Negligee: Spring Clean. It was released on August 6, 2021, and the store description makes clear that it delivers a specific, self-contained portion of the full game — the introduction and morning events — as a free sampler. There is no indication from Dharker Studios of any planned updates, additional content, or post-launch development for this prelude specifically.
The developer news posts associated with this storefront are shared across Dharker Studios' entire catalog and relate to other games entirely (Echo Tokyo: Reaper, Maid Cafe, Bounce Paradise, etc.). None of the news posts reference this prelude after its August 2021 launch announcement. The prelude shipped as a complete, deliberately scoped free sample with no DLC, no roadmap, and no post-launch communications indicating further content was planned. The full sequel, Negligee: Spring Clean, launched separately on August 20, 2021.
This game launched as a finished product — a purpose-built free demo/prelude — and has received no post-launch content updates of any kind.
