Bloons TD Battles 2

Bloons TD Battles 2 launched on November 30, 2021 and has been in continuous, active development ever since. Ninja Kiwi has shipped 25 major content updates across nearly five years, introducing new heroes (Bonnie the Bloonstone Miner in September 2024, Beetienne in December 2024), new maps (Bloonstone Quarry, Splashdown, Street Party, Magma Mixup, Park, Club Jammin'), new game modes (Jump Start, Hero Challenge, Scientist Gwen's Bloon Lab sandbox), and extensive balance changes throughout. The most recent major update (4.12) shipped on March 23, 2026, adding a new map and a large round of balance changes. Update 4.13 was announced on July 22, 2026 — just over a month before today's date — introducing yet another new map (Club Jammin') along with further balance adjustments, confirming the developer remains actively engaged. The game is built around recurring Bling Seasons (now 5 weeks long as of Update 4.9 in September 2025), weekly Arena Leagues with competitive trophies and leaderboards, and a Club membership unlocking exclusive features like Scientist Gwen's Bloon Lab. These systems are designed to keep players engaged indefinitely. Ninja Kiwi has given no indication of winding down development or the live service structure, and the update cadence remains consistent and frequent.
