The developer (Cheesecake Dev) was actively patching the game during its pre-release period in early-to-mid 2019, shipping a series of feature updates (v0.4 through v0.8) that added new characters, mechanics, graphics improvements, and gameplay systems. The game officially released on July 19, 2019.
The only developer post after the launch date is from January 7, 2022, and it is not about Border Officer at all — it announces the release of a different game (Internet Cafe Simulator 2) by the same studio. There have been no patch notes, updates, announcements, or developer communications about Border Officer itself since its 2019 release. The studio's attention has clearly shifted to other projects.
There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap or announced future content, and no developer statements indicating plans to update Border Officer further.
