Breach & Clear launched on March 21, 2014 as a PC port of a mobile tactical strategy game. In the months following launch, the developers shipped one free content update (Russian Spetsnaz team and new gear, April 4, 2014), one paid DLC pack (the Frozen Synapse crossover pack, May 2, 2014), and a handful of bug fix patches. The store description notes the Steam version includes all premium content from the original mobile game, suggesting the port launched as a substantially complete package.
By mid-2014, developer attention had clearly shifted toward a follow-up title: Breach & Clear: Deadline was announced on July 30, 2014, and launched on Steam Early Access on January 30, 2015. A bundled "Breach & Clear Collection" was released on February 25, 2015, packaging both titles together. No content updates, patches, or developer communications for the original Breach & Clear have appeared since early 2014. The sole DLC listed on the store (the Frozen Synapse Pack) has been released since May 2014. There are no unreleased DLC items, no announced roadmap, and no developer statements indicating further content for this game. The last meaningful development activity dates to early 2014, over a decade ago.
