Builders of Greece graduated from Early Access and launched its full 1.0 release on May 6, 2025, accompanied by a substantial update that added new scenarios, maps, a decree system, an economy panel, new gods, and numerous other features. The developer's launch post stated they are "committed to continually supporting Builders of Greece with regular updates, bug fixes, and possibly even more exciting content based on your ongoing feedback" — a vague, conditional statement that does not constitute an announcement of specific planned content.
Following the 1.0 launch, the developer shipped two quick hotfixes (May 7 and May 8, 2025) to address post-launch bugs. After that, no further updates have been posted for Builders of Greece itself. The most recent developer news post (March 31, 2026) is an announcement about Crown of Greed — a separate game from the same studio — which was cross-promoted on the Builders of Greece Steam page. This is not a Builders of Greece content update.

Plan out your Polis with great precision - work out your own meticulously detailed city layout and establish unabated production chains. Choose from dozens of varied buildings at your disposal and decide which of them will best serve your loyal subjects. Maintain a balance between residential zones, administrative institutions, workshops, service buildings, and military facilities to provide your city with stable, dynamic development.
Make fateful decisions and manage all the aspects of your city's life. Set your taxes, establish new trade routes, occupy resource-rich terrains, increase the population of your empire, react to unpredictable events, or become a local military power. The way you rule is entirely up to you! Take good care of your citizens' needs, guarantee their safety and secure their well-being. If you fail, your Polis will soon be hit by riots, plagues, or rapid emigration.
Only a good, wise politics will encourage the local population to settle in your city. Prove as an efficient ruler and turn your small provincial town into a huge metropolis known throughout the whole glorious Greece!
