Evaluation
Builders of Greece: Prologue is a free standalone demo/preview product, explicitly described in both the store description and short description as "a shortened version of the full game" designed to let players practice mechanics and try the game before purchasing the full release. It launched on September 18, 2023, received a few bug fix and quality-of-life patches in the days immediately following launch (through late September 2023), and has had no further updates since then. The news feed for this Prologue app is shared with the publisher's broader catalog, so posts about the main Builders of Greece game graduating from Early Access (May 6, 2025), other studio titles like Restaurant Owner and DeathOmen, and unrelated announcements like Slender Reborn all appear here — but none of these represent new content for the Prologue itself. The Prologue's purpose was always to serve as a taste of the full game, and with the full Builders of Greece now out of Early Access as of May 2025, the Prologue has fully served that purpose. No new content, updates, roadmap items, or developer commitments have been directed at this Prologue product since its launch patches in September 2023.
Evidence
Store description explicitly identifies this as 'a shortened version of the full game' intended to let players try mechanics and learn the game — a demo/prologue product, not a live-service or content-expanding title.
