Evaluation

Bunny Hill launched on October 23, 2020 and received a steady stream of updates over its first few years. The game shipped three major content updates: Update 1.0.4 "The Moat" (January 29, 2021), the Character Update v1.1.3 (September 8, 2022), and the Online Multiplayer update (December 2, 2023). Importantly, the developer posted on March 16, 2022 stating that v1.1 would be "the last major content update." Despite that statement, the developer subsequently delivered the Character Update in September 2022 and Online Multiplayer in December 2023 — both of which exceeded the earlier "last major update" declaration. These later releases supersede that earlier statement. The Online Multiplayer update in December 2023 appears to be the natural conclusion of the developer's roadmap. Following that release, all subsequent posts have been maintenance-only: a cloud save compatibility fix in March 2024 and a security/bug fix patch in October 2025. There have been no announcements of future content, no unreleased DLC, and no developer statements indicating ongoing development plans. The developer's most recent posts direct players to their other projects on Steam. The game launched as a complete, self-contained product and delivered all features referenced in developer roadmap posts (new courses, characters, online multiplayer, time trial mode). With no outstanding commitments and no developer communications suggesting more content is coming, the game's content is best considered complete as of the Online Multiplayer update on December 2, 2023.
Evidence
Free Online Multiplayer update shipped, fulfilling the developer's long-stated roadmap goal. Developer mentions a new game called Cavern, with no further Bunny Hill content announced.
