Call of Boba

Call of Boba entered Steam Early Access on March 10, 2025 and remains in that state. The developer has been actively and consistently shipping updates throughout the game's Early Access period. Since launch, major content updates have included a complete combat system overhaul adding 50 ingredient-based ammunition types and 35 skill cards (February 11, 2026), farm automation with a new sprinkler system (March 16, 2026), a new arcade mini-game (April 3, 2026), a ground-up fishing system rebuild adding 16 new fish species with a unique music-layer mechanic (April 25, 2026), a new ingredient storage system (May 10, 2026), and another new arcade mini-game alongside birthday gifting improvements (June 20, 2026). The most recent developer communication was on June 20, 2026. The developer has also explicitly flagged content still in progress: as of April 25, 2026, Ocean fishing was described as "still deep in development." As of April 3, 2026 and March 16, 2026, new town quests and story content were described as actively being worked on. The March 17, 2025 roadmap further outlines the broader development plan. There is no indication from the developer that the 1.0 release is imminent or that content plans are winding down — quite the opposite.
