Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War originally launched in November 2020 and arrived on Steam on March 8, 2023 as a fully finished product — a traditional single-player campaign paired with multiplayer modes. All 10 DLC items listed on the Steam store were released simultaneously on the Steam launch date of March 8, 2023, and consist entirely of cosmetic packs and in-game currency. There are no story expansions, gameplay content additions, or unreleased items among them. Since the Steam launch, the developer's news posts have been exclusively focused on promoting Modern Warfare 4, the next entry in the franchise — with announcements covering pre-order details (May 28, 2026), beta dates (July 23 and August 21, 2026), and beta guides (August 24–28, 2026). None of these posts reference Black Ops Cold War development in any way. There have been no patch notes, feature updates, or development communications specific to Black Ops Cold War beyond its Steam launch date. The franchise has clearly moved on to its next installment.
