Evaluation

This Steam listing is the Beta client for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, not the full game. The store description explicitly describes a time-limited beta event: pre-order early access running August 21–25, 2026, followed by an open beta available to all players from August 28–September 1, 2026. Developer news confirms the full game launches on October 23, 2026, with Campaign Early Access beginning October 16, 2026 for digital pre-orders. The store description also states that rewards earned during the Beta "will be available in the full game at launch," confirming that the full game is a separate, upcoming release. This Steam listing exists solely to facilitate beta access ahead of that launch.

Evidence

Store description explicitly describes a two-weekend beta event (August 21–25 and August 28–September 1) and states that rewards will be 'playable in Modern Warfare® 4 once the full game launches,' confirming the full game is a separate upcoming release.
