Camp Sunshine

Camp Sunshine launched on October 27, 2016 as a self-contained story-driven horror RPG. In the months following launch, Fossil Games shipped two feature updates — Update 1.1 (November 5, 2016) and the Winter Update 1.2 (December 11, 2016) — refining gameplay mechanics and adding seasonal content. A final bug-fix and Easter-themed patch (Update 1.3) followed on April 12, 2017, after which the developer noted they were "hard at work on our follow up game." No further updates to Camp Sunshine itself have been released since that date. The developer's subsequent communications were all focused on Sunshine Manor, a separate prequel game. Sunshine Manor was announced in October 2019, successfully Kickstarted in late 2020, and released on Steam on October 28, 2021. A bundle combining both games was created shortly after. None of these activities represent new content for Camp Sunshine itself. Both DLC items — the Original Soundtrack and the Ultimate Edition Wallpapers — were released the day after launch in October 2016 and there are no unreleased DLC items listed. The store description makes no reference to future content. The game launched and was supported as a complete, finite narrative experience, and development of additional content for it concluded in April 2017.
